Ben Affleck visits ex-wife Jennifer Garner on Mother's Day

Jennifer Garner enjoyed a visit from her ex-husband Ben Affleck on Mother's Day. 

The Argo director , 52, was spotted heading toward Garner's, 53, home in the Brentwood area of Los Angeles and seemed to be carrying a small gift. 

The pair — who sparked reconciliation rumors earlier this year following a very public embrace — share three children: Violet, 19, who is away at college, Fin, 16 and Sam, 13. 

The Oscar winner looked relaxed in a white T-shirt with ANIMALS Film Crew written on it, over jeans and sneakers. His salt and pepper hair and beard were neatly cropped.

Meanwhile the actress was picture stepping out with their kids Fin and Sam earlier in the day. 

Affleck and Garner were married from 2005 to 2018. She has since been in an off-again-on-again relationship with businessman John Miller.

Garner who has vowed to walk/run a mile a day for 67 days in order to raise money for the charity Save The Children did not let the holiday keep her from reaching her goal.

The Yes Day star was attired in a green T-shirt with black leggings and sneakers for her daily outing.

The doting mom —  whose ex is reportedly 'annoyed' over his former girlfriend Ana de Armas' romance with his pal Tom Cruise — was seen carrying some snacks, including a cold beverage after the outing, donning a gray sweater and brown billed cap with sunglasses. 

Fin looked relaxed wearing a vintage looking black and red T-shirt with The Beatles on it, over some khaki shorts and sneakers.

Sam rocked a white Polo shirt and tan pants and kicks. 

'For anyone out there still walking with me, I've walked 47 of my 67 mile commitment,' the Deadpool & Wolverine star shared in her Instagram Stories. 

'Let's keep going,' she encouraged her fans, adding, '20 miles to go #67strong4kids.'

'$67 can save the life of a malnourished child!' she concluded. 

The Family Switch star honored her own mother, Patricia, in an emotional video celebrating their relationship, including working in the kitchen together and even working out together. 

'You’re the GOAT, mom. Happy Mother’s Day. ♥️', the Alias star penned. 

'God she’s amazing. As are you!,' wrote Garner's pal Rita Wilson. 'THE GOAT (like mother like daughter) ❤️' agreed Kimberly Williams Paisley.

Garner and Affleck have remained amicable ever since ending their marriage seven years ago.

Last month Ben praised Jennifer and their co-parenting partnership during an interview with British GQ. 

'I’m really lucky that I have a really good co-parent and partner in Jennifer Garner, the kids’ mom, who’s wonderful and great and we work together well.'

That same month the pair were seen embracing during an outing, sending the internet into a frenzy.

Daily Mail later learned Garner is 'deathly afraid of falling back in love' with the actor, with a source saying she still has 'trust issues' with Affleck following affair rumors with their children's nanny, Christine Ouzounian, now 37, a decade ago.

'She loves Ben but is worried that he will crush her all over again,' the source said.

'She doesn't want to heal another broken heart because it is just too much drama, plus she does not want their kids to see round two of their mom in a bad place with their dad.

'So much could go wrong if they reunite.'

The photos of Affleck tenderly embracing his ex-wife also resulted in Garner's boyfriend John feeling a bit bothered about their 'touchy-feely' behavior, sources claimed.

'It would get to anyone, but this is nothing new,' the insider said. 'Ben and Jen have a unique relationship, especially for exes.'

In February, it was reported that Miller feels uncomfortable about the close bond between Garner and her ex-husband.

A source told Page Six that Miller 'isn't thrilled' about how much time the exes spend with each other.

The insider explained that Miller 'knows Ben and Jen have been leaning on each other more than ever lately and have a really close relationship.'

Miller reportedly feels that 'their growing bond is getting to be a bit much when Ben spends all the holidays with them like Christmas and Thanksgiving.'

'John feels like a third wheel,' the insider claimed.

'It used to be solely about the kids, but John feels like it could be more than just about their coparenting relationship,' the insider alleged.

In March 2016, Garner detailed to Vanity Fair how her heart was 'tender' after her 10-year marriage to Affleck crumbled.

Affleck has not spoken much about his recent divorce from Jennifer Lopez, 55, but was photographed spending more time with first wife Garner in the months that followed.

He wed Lopez in 2022 and she filed for divorce last year following months of speculation. The marriage officially ended earlier this year.

The 13 Going On 30 star was said to have played a key role in helping her ex-husband through his split from Lopez, adopting the role of 'marriage counsellor' to the struggling couple, with some friends feared she had been forced to 'play mediator.'
