Jennifer Lawrence revealed she is working with Emma Stone to produce an upcoming Miss Piggy movie.

The Oscar-winning actress, 35, said she may also be starring in the film in addition to working behind the camera to produce the project.

The Die, My Love star made an appearance on Wednesday's podcast episode of Las Culturistas with Matt Rogers and Bowen Yang.

On the podcast, she opened up about working with Stone and Cole Escola to produce a Muppets movie.

'I don't know if I can announce this, but I'm just going to,' she told the podcast hosts. 'Emma Stone and I are producing a Miss Piggy movie and Cole is writing it.'

The news comes shortly after she opened up about why she no longer discusses and publicly shares her political beliefs amid President Donald Trump's second term.

Lawrence also admitted that she almost starred in Oh Mary! instead of the current star — Tony winner Jane Krakowski

She said Escola had contacted her about starring in his acclaimed Broadway comedy play, but she had to turn down the offer because of scheduling conflicts.

Lawrence did not share any further details about her forthcoming Muppets-related project.

However, she did address another movie rumor about her starring in a remake of Death Becomes Her.

She denied the speculation but said she would 'love' to work on such a project.

'No, that was just, like, fan casting,' she explained. 'It would be great. I would love to. I mean, I would be there.'

She recently explained why she stopped criticizing Trump and discussing her politicial beliefs in public.

Lawrence said and she didn't want to prevent potential moviegoers from seeing a film she did that could 'change consciousness or change the world' by stating a controversial political opinion.

She also said she hoped to make her thoughts on the world clear through her work, as she has a production company called Excellent Cadaver that has been doing documentaries about topics such as abortion and issues abroad.

'A lot of movies coming out from my production company are expressions of the political landscape, and that's how I feel like I can be helpful,' Lawrence said.

Lawrence last year indicated in an interview with people that she would be voting for Democratic candidate, ex-Vice President Kamala Harris, when she took on Trump after ex-President Joe Biden dropped out.

'Abortion is literally on the ballot,' she told People in September of 2024. 'I'm voting for Kamala Harris because I think she's an amazing candidate and I know that she will do whatever she can to protect reproductive rights.

'That's the most important thing, is to not let somebody into the White House who is going to ban abortion.'
