All-star cast for Comic Relief Traitors sequel revealed
by CONNIE RUSK, ASSOCIATE SHOWBUSINESS EDITOR · Mail OnlineAn all-star cast will take part in a spoof of this year's Traitors in a Comic Relief special, The Traitors: The Movie - The Sequel, which will air on Red Nose Day on Friday.
The BBC have released first look images at the line-up - and the resemblance to the 2026 contestants is uncanny.
Anna Friel is at the helm as host Claudia Winkleman, while Vicky Pattison and Iain Stirling take the lead as winning Traitors Rachel Duffy and Stephen Libby.
Gavin And Stacey's Alison Steadman will portray Fiona Hughes, the short-lived secret Traitor who donned the infamous red cloak but ended up getting banished early in the game.
As for the Faithfuls, Fleur East will become the hapless Roxy Wilson, Strictly and Emmerdale star Lewis Cope looks unrecognisable as Jack Butler, Scott Mills is gardener James Baker, Amanda Redman MBE will be former police detective Amanda Collier while Patience's Jessica Hynes will take on the formidable crime writer and barrister Harriet Tyce.
They will be joined in the sketch alongside the real cast, including Rachel, Stephen, Faraaz Noor, Fiona, Ross Garshong, Jade Scott, and Judy Wilson, while Ruby Wax will direct the sketch.
Of playing Claudia, Anna, 49, said: 'We’re doing a sketch for Comic Relief, and I am playing Claudia Winkleman.
'Lots and lots of warm clothes for me today, I’ve had roll necks and coats and boots and fingerless gloves.
'Seeing Alison Steadman [OBE] again was absolutely lovely, she played my mother in a drama we did together.
'Jessica Hynes is so funny and brilliant, and I watched The Traitors so seeing the series four cast was really gorgeous and they were all wonderful and warm – it’s been a really light and happy set.
'Comic Relief is a really worthy cause and beautiful campaign – Go get your Red Nose.'
The sketch will relive some of the most iconic moments from series four.
Series four winner Rachel said of Vicky playing her: 'I have a clone in Vicky Pattison which is really surreal. She does a killer Irish accent.
'When I heard we were doing a sketch of The Traitors I absolutely loved it and I couldn’t wait to find out who was going to play me.'

Do YOU think this all-star Comic Relief Traitors spin-off will be even better than the original?
Vicky said of taking part: 'I have been a supporter and champion of Comic Relief for years, however this does feel a little bit outside of my usual wheelhouse – I am not an actor, I am not Northern Irish, I think I’d rather be back in the Arctic or trekking or something so I am very scared.'
Comic Relief: Funny for Money is live on BBC iPlayer and BBC One on Friday from 7pm, and for the very first time, it will be live streamed simultaneously on the official BBC YouTube channel.
