The Traitors' Tyler confesses that he doesn't regret going on the show
by CHLOE LOUISE FOR MAILONLINE · Mail OnlineThe Traitors' Tyler Smith has confessed that he doesn't regret going on the show and stands by every decision he made on the hit BBC competition.
Thursday's episode of the hit BBC show saw the dramatic moment that Tyler, 29, was banished after receiving the most number of votes at the round table.
But he then revealed that he had been a Faithful all along, sending shockwaves around the castle and making Livi storm off.
And despite two of his closest pals, Leon and Leanna, turning on him on the round table, he told The Mirror that he never thought he would get banished.
He told the publication: 'I stick by every decision I made. The game's done, my game is finished and that's it. No regrets.'
As he prepared to head home, Tyler addressed his co-stars, saying: 'I just want to say I love all of you, it's just a game. So keep going and smash it, I love you. I am Faithful.'
While he also shared a moment with his pal Livi, as he whispered to her to 'stay strong'.
After revealing his identity, the cast gasped in shock and frustration that they had once again voted out one of their own.
And Livi angrily declared: 'No one's listening to me. I've literally got to get out of here for a second,' before running out of the room in tears.
However, she had set her sights firmly on Freddie for two round tables in a row, who is also a Faithful.
While another person who received a lot of votes on Thursday's episode was Faithful Lisa, causing viewers to mock this year's cast and say 'none of them have a clue'.
Taking to X, fans pointed out that there was a distinct lack of 'planning or teamwork whatsoever' ahead of roundtables and quipped the Faithfuls have 'the mindset of Dory from Finding Nemo.
They wrote: 'These are the worst faithfuls ever hahahahahha none of them have a clue'; 'Faithfuls barking up the wrong tree again. I love it'; 'Faithful are all over the place'.
'There is never any strategy to who they go for at the Round Table. Hilarious to watch such chaos unfold'; 'Minah is making it look easy to be a Traitor, she’s just sitting watching the Faithfuls cause all of the drama'
'The Faithfuls have the mindset of Dory from Finding Nemo, it is literally whoever the last person they heard right before the deliberation, with no sense of planning or teamwork whatsoever. #TheTraitors are KILLING it this season.'
'Its funny. Its like most these people are clueless about how to play the game. They have had 2 series to learn from. And they are yet to utilise it. Apart from Minah of cause. Even with the mistake, has played a blinder.'
'The way all the faithfuls are accusing each other every night looool'; 'These faithfuls have lost the absolute plot. they’re soooooo cold it’s unreal'; 'Minah is playing a superb game here. Just sit back and let them tear each other apart.'
'The worst collection of faithfuls in history'; 'The faithfuls this year are so annoying, just give the money to Minah' ; 'they’re collapsing, they’re falling apart, there’s real fights oh this is a messy season'.
'Linda is lucky this group of faithfuls is so WEAK. The traitors don’t even have to do anything because these lot are tearing each other apart from the inside. Worst set yet. Minah is cackling in her head with glee. Linda just signs the register as present'.
The tide turned against Tyler after he began gunning for Freddie earlier in the week, with many saying his popularity with the cast meant he would make a great Traitor.
His two close pals Leon and Leanne soon became convinced of his guilt as well, with Leon leading the accusations against him at the round table.
Tyler angrily tried to defend himself from the group, claiming his name was being thrown out at random and instructing his fellow Faithful to keep an eye on Leon and Freddie instead.
He said: If I get banished, when I stand up and say I'm a Faithful, I want everyone to look at Leon and Freddie. Do it for me.'
