Thomas Skinner wishes he never went on Strictly Come Dancing
by BETHAN EDWARDS, SHOWBUSINESS REPORTER · Mail OnlineThomas Skinner ranted that he wishes he 'never went on Strictly Come Dancing', as since he has received 'constant abuse' after it was revealed he cheated on his wife.
The former Apprentice star, 34, admitted to cheating on his wife Sinead with Amy-Lucy O'Rourke just weeks after their wedding in May 2022, claiming the 'two week fling' was a 'moment of madness' that saw him almost 'ruin his life'.
Thomas, who had been partnered with Amy Dowden, was the first to be axed from the BBC dance show this season.
Now, he has taken to X to call out those who have criticised him, particularly those who have approached him in public.
In a lengthy, the reality star wrote: 'I've had enough of all this b*****. I can't do anything right now without someone critising (sic) me. Or Making me do something against my will. It's b*******.
'I wish I never done Strictly, l never fitted the bill for that show let's be honest. And It's caused me nothing but agg. Constant abuse.
He continued: 'All I f***in do is try to spread positivity online. I can't walk anywhere without people knowing who I am.
'I've had a narrative spun against me so people always have an opinion on me now that they didn't 3 months ago. I've heard so many lies said and told about me. It's driving me mad.
'I've had a constant pile of abuse over the last month like l'm a mass murderer. It's b*******.
'I went out to work in my van this morning and I'm either getting beeped at or people putting their thumb up at me.
The married father-of-three concluded by saying he needs to 'take a break and concentrate on his family' because he's 'struggling'.
He said: 'I've honestly had enough. Now people l've supported my whole life are starting to turn on me because they see what's going on online. It ain't real life.
'I think I need to take a break and concentrate on me and my family. Because I ain't one to admit I'm struggling. But I am. I'm honestly tired of all this nonsense.
'Can no one see what's happening to me, I don't know why I've become this target. I've always been the one that's been solid. But l've really really had enough now. Bosh.'

In another post, he said: 'Every part of me wants to go down the pub and drown my sorrows. But I'm not. The wife is making our little boys favourite. Home made chicken pie.
'I'm gonna lift some HEAVY WEIGHTS in the garden and pump myself up then i am gonna spend time with my beautiful little family on big massive sofa and watch the tele. DONT WORRY ABOUT GETTING PERFECT. JUST GET BETTER. BOSH❤️ '
It comes after Thomas admitted that he 'wasn't good enough' for Strictly - after being the first to be booted off the show.
The TV personality left viewers 'traumatised' with his last performance and he and Amy appeared on It Takes Two to debrief the exit.
He said: 'I know I'm not the best dancer, but we had such a laugh out there. I was second from bottom, weren't I, and I do move like a fridge, so let's have it right, I was trying but I weren't good enough.
'Obviously, I'd have loved to carry on going further, but it's a dancing competition, and I'm lucky to be here. I'm lucky to meet Amy. I've got a new friend. My family loves her, and it's been a great experience, it's been good fun.'
Amy then sweetly said of her partner: 'I am so impressed. An absolute beginner in terms of the entertainment world.
'Not an actor, not a performer. The performances you pulled out both Saturdays...
'I also saw the development from day one, learning it to getting it on the dancefloor. And he worked so hard, but also we had so much fun.
'But best of all, who would have thought that Thomas Skinner would fall in love with dancing, including the Salsa!'
Thomas took to the dancefloor in week two of the hit BBC competition with professional partner Amy performing to Dizzee Rascal's Bonkers.
But during the first Results Show, Thomas and Amy went head-to-head against Chris Robshaw and Nadiya Bychkova in the show's first dance off.
The judges' score were added to those from the first live show, where there was no public vote, and were then combined with the results of last night's public vote to decide the two lowest scoring couples facing the dance off.
During the episode Thomas and Amy re-performed their Salsa to Bonkers by Dizzee Rascal and Armand van Helden, then Chris and Nadiya performed their Viennese Waltz to Die With A Smile by Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars.
But after three votes in favour of Chris and Nadiya, Thomas and Amy were announced as the first couple to exit the competition.
