Adam Peaty's Strictly partner Katya Jones 'snubbed' from his wedding
by GERAINT LLEWELLYN, SHOWBUSINESS REPORTER · Mail OnlineAdam Peaty's Strictly partner Katya Jones appears to be yet another person snubbed from his star-studded wedding to Holly Ramsay on Saturday.
The Olympic swimmer, 31, tied the knot with daughter of chef Gordon Ramsay, 25, at Bath Abbey with a reception following at the swanky Kin House - amid a bitter fallout with his family which saw his mother uninvited from proceedings.
Katya who was paired with Adam during the BBC show's 2021 series, was not spotted at the ceremony alongside the likes of fellow Strictly competitors Dan Walker and Sara Davies.
The pro then returned to Instagram, after deleting 'toxic' social media for a week, to reveal she had spent the weekend at home, making no mention of the nuptials.
Sharing a snap of herself with a book in front of a roaring fire she penned: 'I've been off social media for a week. Had Instagram and TikTok deleted. Hence sharing of the old post now'.
'And let me tell you - what a gift it is to be present in the real. To fall into the world of your imagination reading a book, allow your mind to become peaceful again,'
Before adding: 'Heart grateful for what we have, get rid of the toxic energy and stop chasing'.
Daily Mail have contacted Katya and Adam's representatives for comment.
During his time on the show Adam was in a relationship with Eirianedd Munro, the mother of his son George five, and she was reportedly felt 'humiliated' after the sportsman engaged in a 'near kiss' with Katya during one routine.
The insider said: 'Eiri is always supportive of Adam, but she doesn't like being humiliated on a national scale.'
'She wants the world to know that they're very much a couple and hopes that Katya doesn't get any ideas,' the source added to The Sun.
It comes after Holly changed her name in a move that may surprise many after her wedding risked being overshadowed by the bitter family feud.
The only member of Adam's family to attend their special day was his sister Bethany who was a bridesmaid - but it has been claimed his dad was offered a late invite.
The huge rift between the two families has become increasingly clear ever since Adam uninvited them from the day and his mother was left out of Holly's hen.

REVEALED: Adam Peaty's 'outraged' mother's response to Gordon Ramsay's 'cruel digs' about her in explosive wedding speech - as her son changes his name and blocks texts from his family amid bitter feud
But despite their issues with the Peaty family, the couple have both opted to use the surname in their new double-barrelled moniker.
While Adam's family were left out of proceedings, Holly's side were firmly involved as she paid a sweet tribute to her mother Tana Ramsay on the day.
While the influencer kept her dress under wraps as she arrived at the ceremony on Saturday, she is said to have worn two different dresses during her reception, one of which was the one her mother wore when she married Gordon.
Tana and Gordon celebrated their 29th wedding anniversary just last week, and the mother of six wore a V-neck, short-sleeved wedding dress for her big day.
Holly and Tana also wore matching shoes for the wedding on Saturday, as they both donned Amina Muaddi slingback lace heels in white and black respectively.
Adam tied the knot with Holly at Bath Abbey with a reception following at the swanky Kin House - amid his bitter fallout with his family which saw his mother Caroline uninvited from proceedings.
And the Olympian has wasted no time embracing his new family and has made a huge statement about his future family ties by changing his name on social media.
The name change is the latest sign that Adam has distanced himself from his own family, after uninviting his parents from his wedding.
Adam has followed in the footsteps of Brooklyn Beckham, who added his wife Nicola's surname Peltz to his name after marrying the US star in 2022.
Brooklyn has cut ties with his parents David and Victoria, with that family feud cited as the reason he didn't attend Adam and Holly's wedding, despite being close friends with the bride since childhood.
Meanwhile Adam's broken–hearted mother Caroline was said to be 'beside herself' with grief at missing what should have been one of the happiest days of her life.
The Peaty family were all uninvited from the nuptials, aside from Adam's sister Beth who was a bridesmaid.
According to new reports on Sunday, Adam's father Mark was the only person beside Beth asked to attend their big day, however he was told he'd have to sit at the back 'behind the plus ones'.
Meanwhile father of the bride Gordon reportedly made a brutal dig at his new son-in-law's parents in his speech.
