Bella Thorne accuses Mickey Rourke of 'bruising her genitals' on set
by REBECCA LAWRENCE FOR MAILONLINE · Mail OnlineBella Thorne has lashed out at Mickey Rourke in the wake of his homophobia scandal with JoJo Siwa.
The actress, 27, took to social media on Friday to claim that working with the actor, 72, was 'one of the all time worst experiences of my life' as she detailed their experience on the 2020 revenge thriller, Girl.
She alleged that during filming the Hollywood star 'bruised her genitals' when he repeatedly smashed a metal grinder into her crotch instead of her knees.
Sharing a screengrab of an article about Mickey being warned by Celebrity Big Brother bosses for his homophobic remarks, she wrote: 'This f***ing dude. GROSS.
'I had to work with this man - In a scene Where I'm on my knees with my hands zip tied around my back.
'He's supposed to take a metal grinder to my knee cap and instead he used it on my genitals thru my jeans. Hitting them over and over again.'
She continued: 'I had bruises on my pelvic bone - Working with Mickey was one of the all time worst experiences of my life working as an actress.'
In a separate post she added: 'So many gross stories of things he made me go thru on that movie, including in his last scene to speed up and rev his engine so he could cover me completely in dirt.
'Idk I guess he thought it was funny to humiliate me in front of the entire crew.
'Having to go in his trailer absolutely alone because he refused to speak to the director or producers - so I had to convince him to show up and complete his job, as he shouted crazy demands that he wanted from the producers.
'In fact I had to beg. Alone. In his trailer. Since the movie could not be finished without him. Everyone’s work would’ve just been lost and completely for nothing.
'I didn’t wanna do it. I was uncomfortable, but I did what I was asked to do and what was best for the movie.
'Mickey should’ve never put anybody in that movie in any of those positions that he did.'
MailOnline has contacted Big Brother, Mickey's representatives and Trilight Entertainment for comment.
In Girl, Bella played a young woman who returns to her hometown in order to murder her abusive father - only to learn someone has already killed him. Mickey took on the part of the local sheriff.
The cast also included the director, Chad Faust, Elizabeth Saunders, Lanette Ware and Glen Gould.
While Bella's performance was praised, the film itself was panned by critics, managing a 55 percent 'rotten' score on reviews aggregator site, Rotten Tomatoes.
Speaking about the pair's acting dynamic, director Chad said: 'Not only was that character dominating but Mickey himself was.
'I think that that actually really worked well. I knew I had to made a quick choice to either fight him or let the hurricane just blast through town and see how it rides, and I rode that hurricane all the way to what I think is a beautiful performance by him.'
'He was the opposite of Bella.'
Discussing Mickey's reluctance to be on set, he added: 'Up until like days before shooting we weren't sure if it was happening. Is so and so going to show up?'
Bella found fame on the Disney Channel, starring alongside Zendaya in the hit series, Shake It Up.
She has since charted an unusual course within the industry.
In 2019, she directed the pornographic film Her & Him, before kickstarting her OnlyFans career in the year of the pandemic.
At the time, Bella was among the most famous names on the adult content platform that has since found favour with stars like Cardi B, Lily Allen, and Denise Richards.
Within 24 hours of announcing she would be joining OnlyFans, she had racked up over $1 million in earnings.
She still has an acting career, most recently starring alongside the likes of Lenny Kravitz and Paris Hilton in the 2024 dark comedy, The Trainer.
In recent days, Mickey has made international headlines with his behaviour on the British reality show, Celebrity Big Brother.
Fans demanded 'vile' Mickey be removed from the house after he made a homophobic threat at lesbian Dance Moms star JoJo, before insulting other female housemates in a 'misogynistic' tirade.
Viewers were left agog when the Hollywood star branded Jojo, 21, a 'f*g' before going on to body shame actress Donna Preston and insult EastEnders icon Patsy Palmer's cooking skills - with many noting how his offensive comments only seemed to be aimed at the women in the house.
During Wednesday's episode, which had a peak of a peak of 1.74 million viewers, Mickey left JoJo in tears after he insinuated he would be able to 'make her straight' during their time in the house.
Discussing her sexuality, Mickey asked the influencer: 'Do you like girls or boys?' to which she replied: 'Me? Girls. My partner is non-binary.'
Doubling down on his claims he would be able to change her sexuality, Mickey then insisted: 'If I stay longer than four days, you won't be gay anymore.'
JoJo replied: 'I can guarantee I'll still be gay and I'll still be in a very happy relationship.'
Later in the garden, Mickey asked Chris Hughes if everyone had to vote one another out of the house, with the Wrestler star stating: 'I'm going to vote the lesbian out real quick.'

JoJo overheard and hit back: 'That's homophobic, if that was your reasoning', as Chris defended her by interjecting: 'You can't do that Mickey'.
Undeterred, Mickey continued: 'I need a fag' before gesturing to JoJo and adding: 'I'm not talking to you.'
Chris once again hits back saying, 'Mickey, you can't say that', to which he replied: 'I know. I was talking about a cigarette.'
While JoJo was left visibly upset by the exchanged as Chris comforted her, Mickey was then called to the Diary Room and issued a warning.
Big Brother told: 'Mickey before you entered the Big Brother house the rules regarding unacceptable language and behaviour were explained to you.'
He then read back the entire exchange to Mickey, adding: 'Mickey, do you understand how this language could be offensive to your Housemates or the viewing public?'
Mickey replied: 'Yeah I think so. If I was saying it in a nasty kind of way or if I truly meant it.'
Big Brother continued: 'Mickey, Big Brother thinks your language was offensive and unacceptable.'
'Alright. I can understand that,' Mickey agreed.
Big Brother then issued the star with a formal warning and explained: 'Further language or behaviour of this nature could lead to you being removed from the Big Brother house. Mickey, do you understand?'
Mickey added: 'Yes I do. It's some serious stuff.'
Prompted by Big Brother he finally said sorry as he confessed: 'I apologise. I don't have dishonourable intentions - I'm just talking smack you know.
'I wasn't taking it all so serious. I didn't mean in it any bad intentions and if I did, sorry.'
