I'm A Celebrity start date revealed as ITV drops first look trailer
by CAROLINE PEACOCK, SHOWBUSINESS REPORTER · Mail OnlineThe start date for I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here has been revealed - and fans don't have long to wait.
ITV has confirmed the hit series will be back on screens on November 16, with Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly once again leading the chaos from Down Under.
A brand new line-up of celebrities are preparing to swap luxury for the Australian wilderness as they battle for the jungle crown.
To mark the countdown, ITV has dropped a festive-themed first look promo, featuring Ant and Dec causing mischief as they tuck into a twisted Christmas feast.
The festive clip shows the Geordie pair in holiday jumpers, serving up gruesome meals to a family celebrating Christmas.
It kicks off with the dad cracking a joke at the table before the iconic I'm A Celeb jungle sound plays.
The duo then carry wooden cloches, the very same ones used to serve celebrities during the Bushtucker Trials.
After serving the family, Ant declares to Dec: 'It's that time of year again!'
'It comes so fast doesn't it,' Dec replies as they watch the family tuck into the grotesque dishes.
Ant and Dec watch the festive mayhem ensue before Ant declares: ''Tis the season...'
Dec stuffs something into his mouth to interrupt Ant as he says: 'For I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!'
The show's theme tune then plays, followed by a voiceover announcing: 'I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! returns Sunday, 16 November, live on ITV1 and ITVX.'
Although many big names are rumoured to be joining, the official 2025 lineup has not been announced.
However, Christine McGuinness risked the wrath of ITV bosses after exclusively confirming to Daily Mail that she will appear in the upcoming of I'm A Celeb line-up - just weeks after quitting Celebs Go Dating.
Despite strict secrecy around the star-studded campmates the TV personality, 37, said she'd finally signed up for the show after years of being asked in a 'f*** it' moment as she embraces a new chapter following her split from husband Paddy, 52.
Christine let the cat out of the bag at Pride of Britain Awards and hinted that due to her fear of heights she may be a latecomer into camp in order to avoid the launch show's iconic parachute jump.
She said: 'In the past I am never away from my children, I'd be frightened of the creepy crawlies.
'I have sensory issues I have never been outside Europe so flying over there would be quite a challenge, but I've got a bit of "f*** it".
'Trying to get over to the jungle might be a bit of a mission, but this year is the year I have been most like "f*** it" why not'.
It comes after EastEnders' star Shona McGarty was also rumoured to have signed up to the show alongside model Kelly, rapper Aitch and Emmerdale icon Lisa Riley.

Shona, 34, who played Whitney Dean in the BBC soap, is said to be a favourite of ITV bosses and they have reportedly been 'keen' to sign her for some time, according to The Sun.
While Kelly, 45, is said to be joining the ITV series despite saying back in 2018 there would be 'a million' other things she would rather do - such as working in her local pub - than appear in the jungle.
'I don't want to eat eyeballs or sheep testicles and all the things they have to eat on there,' she said on her Heart radio show.
'Even if I had a huge tax bill and I had to pay it really urgently, I still wouldn't do it.'
Kelly finished with her honest opinion about appearing on the primetime show saying: 'It's kind of like the beginning of the end in my opinion!'
