How Kim Kardashian's love Lewis Hamilton already has family approval

Tongues are wagging over reports that Kim Kardashian is dating Formula One ace Lewis Hamilton, in a union that has surprised many. 

And while the reality star and sportsman have shocked fans with their reported romance, Lewis, 41, most certainly has the seal of approval of the family. 

Back in 2015 and beyond, momager Kris Jenner has frequently reached out to Lewis on social media and expressed pride over his achievements as well as reportedly stating he would be 'perfect' to date Kim's half-sister Kendall. 

Aside from his friendship with Kris, Lewis has had the seal of approval from Kim's half-sister Kylie Jenner's boyfriend Timothée Chalamet branded the Formula One star one of his top five favourite British stars.

Joining the slew of reasons why Lewis will be welcomed into the family with open arms, Kendall has enjoyed a friendship with him for many years – even having been plagued with romance rumours at one point. 

Kris's affinity with Lewis has been long-standing, with an early public display of affection coming about in October 2015, when she dedicated a whole post to Lewis’s F1 win, writing: 'Congratulations @lewishamilton !!!! We are soooo proud of you!!!!!!'

When Kendall and Lewis were linked in 2015, insiders claimed about Kris: 'She really wants Kendall to date him. Lewis and Kris have become friendly in recent months and she thinks he's perfect for her daughter...

'Kendall usually goes for bad boys like Chris Brown and Justin Bieber so Lewis could be a good influence on her.' 

Despite this, the romance rumours were staunchly denied, with Lewis establishing that the couple were 'just friends'.   

Among other gushing comments aimed at the star, back in 2023, one fan pointed out that at the time Kris only followed 65 people on Instagram's microblogging site Threads - with Lewis in the number. 

The tweet read: 'kris jenner only follows 65 people on threads and lewis hamilton is one of them'. She now follows 297 accounts. 

Elsewhere, Timothée has proven he is a fan of the star. While blazing the promo trail for his movie, Marty Supreme, Timothee revealed that Lewis was among his British idols alongside David and Victoria Beckham and hip-hop artisit, Fakemink.  

The new romance came to light over the weekend, after which it was unearthed that they partied together on New Year's Eve in Aspen, Colorado, as they kept their blossoming romance under wraps.

The reported new couple were pictured at the same party after both being invited to Kate Hudson's star-studded bash in the celebrity ski resort.

Their joint attendance at the celebration flew under the radar at the time, however it has now been claimed that Kim and Lewis have been secretly seeing each other.

The reality star, 45, and the Formula 1 driver, 41, were snapped separately leaving Matsuhisa restaurant before heading to the party.

Since their New Year's outing it has been claimed that Kim flew to the English countryside to spend a romantic evening with Lewis.

It was reported by The Sun this week that Kim and Lewis have been secretly dating and have managed to so far keep their romance private.

Their latest date was believed to be a night at the exclusive Estelle Manor in the Cotswolds, where they are said to have had private access to the spa.

Kim jetted from LA on her £100million private jet and arrived with two bodyguards to spend time with Lewis at the country estate.

Sources told the publication that Kim, who apparently arrived with a mountain of luggage, joined Lewis for a meal in a private room.

They said: 'It all appeared to be very romantic. Kim and Lewis made use of all the facilities on offer.

'She had two bodyguards with her and Lewis had a close protection officer but they remained in the background.
