Martha Stewart has admitted it was 'very easy' to keep her cheating a secret for 30 years, after she recently confessed to being unfaithful to ex-husband Andrew Stewart, whom she split from in 1987.

The homemaking expert, 83, shocked fans after she revealed that she strayed during their 29-year-long union in a bombshell trailer for her upcoming Netflix documentary, Martha.

Speaking at the launch party for her 100th book in Manhattan on Wednesday evening, Martha made the quip about her infidelity when friend Lee Brian Schrager joked: 'If you're looking for ideas [for another book] maybe you could talk about how you [had] an affair that happened 30 years ago and you kept it a secret, how is that possible?'

Taking the mic out of Lee's hand, Martha - who looked very glamorous in a chic gold embroidered jacket and matching pants - replied with a grin on her face: 'Very easy, you have to be circumspect.'

As she handed the microphone back to Lee, he joked: 'Not circumcised, circumspect! We got it!' before suggesting that Martha and close friend Snoop Dogg could 'do a book about rolling' after witnessing them smoking together outside.

Taking the mic out of his hand again, Martha told him: 'We're doing a book about cooking... which includes that,' as Lee replied: 'I had no doubt, Martha.'

Snoop, 52, also took the opportunity to say a few words about Martha at her book launch and told the crowd at Four Twenty Five in New York City: 'I just wanna say that Martha is a real dear friend and family member to me.

'So, me and my team, we jumped off a plane [and] drove straight here because we wanted to support her, we love everything that she's about.

'One hundred books is a true hype, she showed me how to write books, I have two cook books out right now so I'm just following her lead and trying to be a better person by having a relationship with a great woman like this,' the rapper continued.

'As you can see, we are real friends, this is not TV, this is not made up, we really care about each other. So, Martha, I just wanna tell you I love you, thank you, and I appreciate you,' he added.

Speaking about her accomplishment, Martha said in a speech: 'It is a milestone to have worked on and written so many beautiful books full of so much information and I do consider myself a teacher and I have lots more to teach, so I'm always busy.'

Fans will get a glimpse into her life in the upcoming Netflix documentary, Martha, where she comes clean about her cheating.

In the trailer for the documentary, Martha said: 'Young women, listen to my advice, if you're married and your husband starts to cheat on you, he's a piece of s**t. Get out of that marriage.'

'Didn't you have an affair early on?' the producer quipped, to which Martha replied, 'Yeah, but I don't think Andy ever knew about that.'

Martha started dating Andy — who has been her only husband to date — when she was just 19 and he was 23, after they were set up on a blind date.

The couple married in 1961 and welcomed their daughter Alexis in 1965.

However, by 1987, the pair had separated and their divorce was finalized in 1990.
