The Masked Singer Mole Dommett is revealed as huge British singer
by HANNAH MCDONALD, SHOWBUSINESS REPORTER · Mail OnlineThe Masked Singer's Mole Dommett has been revealed as British singer Olly Murs after his late entry to competition last week.
So far this season, Sex Pistols star John Lydon, rapper Professor Green, singer Kate Nash and Strictly judge Anton Du Beke have been unmasked.
It was only last week that host Joel Dommett welcomed 'double agent' Mole Dommett to the competition - whose job was to sneak viewers clues on the contestants in their VTs.
But Joel confirmed that despite only appearing occasionally, Mole too would be receive an elaborate unmasking during Saturday's episode.
During Saturday's episode, Mole was finally unmasked as The X Factor star - before he took his place alongside Davina McCall, Maya Jama, Jonathan Ross and Mo Gilligan on the judging panel.
However fans had a bone to pick with producers as they were only given one hint at Moel's identity - a nod to his 2014 track Wrapped Up.
Elsewhere in the episode, Red Panda - who was absent from the first episode - was the latest star to be unmasked.
The character was revealed as none other than comedy legend and TV Burp star Harry Hill.
Fans of the show were quick to share their shock at the reveal, saying his unveiling put to end years of people guessing him for different characters.
They wrote: 'Finally I can stop guessing Harry Hill for every contestant ever,'; 'It had to actually BE Harry Hill eventually,';
'After many years of people guessing Harry Hill they fumble so bad lmao,'; 'Thats it. we can stop guessing Harry Hill for every contestant.'
Red Panda's place in the competition didn't come without drama, as they were noticeably missing from the opening episode.
The character was dramatically pulled from the launch episode just hours before transmission.
The decision to remove the performance followed the deadly fire at the Le Constellation bar in Switzerland on New Years Eve, where around 40 people were killed after a sudden blaze at the venue.

Should The Masked Singer give more clues about secret contestants or keep us completely guessing?
But earlier this month Red Panda finally made their on stage to viewers with a performance of Bat Out Of Hell.
After their first performance, the judges guessed it might be Alan Carr hiding under the mask - but the viewers' top guess was Harry Hill.
Viewers were also quick to comment on seeing Red Panda for the first time, but also said it put the contestant on the back foot.
'Good to finally see Red Panda, but they still cut out the reprise of the first performance,'; '@MaskedSingerUK are you ever going to release red Panda's first episode performance?';
'I would love to have heard Red Panda's first song,'; 'That was his first song - it got pulled due to the Swiss fire. Wondering if they’ll play his second one in the same episode,';
'At long last, we welcome Red Panda to the show.'
Despite being pulled from the show, Red Panda's week one performance was reportedly leaked online on a catch-up service in Scotland, which was then shared online for many to see.
The publication reported that Red Panda performed The Trammps' tune Disco Inferno.
The character's VT also included the cute animal walking around in a fire station.
Daily Mail have contacted ITV for comment at the time.
