Scarlett Johansson has officially been dethroned as the highest-grossing box office star.

And the new queen is none other than Zoe Saldaña - the 41-year-old former child star's MCU castmate from Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Avengers: Endgame (2019).

The 47-year-old Oscar winner has amassed $15,468,366,188 in worldwide box office thanks to her action star roles in blockbuster franchises Avatar, Guardians of the Galaxy and Star Trek - according to The Numbers.

Saldaña (born Zoë Yadira Saldaña Nazario) just reprised her motion-capture role as Neytiri in James Cameron's $400 million-budget three-quel Avatar: Fire and Ash, which amassed $1.23 billion.

Meanwhile, Johansson nabbed the No. 2 spot with 15,401,507,141 box office after playing covert operation expert Zora Bennett in Gareth Edwards' sci-fi flick Jurassic World: Rebirth, which grossed $869.1 million.

The two-time Oscar nominee likely slipped due to helming her 2025 feature directorial debut Eleanor the Great about a grieving grandmother, which only earned $3.1 million at the global box office.

Johansson also had a role as Cousin Hilda Sussman-Korda in Wes Anderson's spy comedy The Phoenician Scheme, which earned a modest $40.2 million last year.

Last month, Deadline reported The Outset co-founder was 'in final negotiations' to star in Matt Reeves' sequel The Batman Part II opposite Robert Pattinson, which might put her back on top.

Johansson's other upcoming projects include Mike Flanagan's untitled Exorcist film, Andrea Arnold's true-crime thriller Featherwood, James Gray's mafia drama Paper Tiger, and Christopher McQuarrie's action film The Gauntlet.

The first and eldest man on the list - Samuel L. Jackson - earned the No. 3 spot with $14,613,700,731 thanks to his many superhero franchises including The Avengers, Incredibles 2, Spider-Man: Far From Home and Captain Marvel.
