Millie Bobby Brown leaves fans stunned over her real age
by CYDNEY YEATES FOR DAILYMAIL.COM · Mail OnlineMillie Bobby Brown's real age has surprised social media users following her appearance at the SAG Awards on Sunday night – with many thinking she looks older.
The Stranger Things star, who turned 21 on February 19, stepped out for the coveted ceremony at Guild at Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall in Los Angeles.
Joined by husband Jake Bongiovi, 22, for the occasion, Millie was the epitome of elegance in a peach-colored satin gown that showed off her svelte frame.
The timeless number a draped cowl neckline, a daring backless design and a small flowing train for added dramatic flair.
Millie wore her newly dyed platinum blonde hair - which has left many convinced she's landed a role playing Britney Spears - in a sleek bun, with a strand left down to frame her face.
She completed her dazzling look with a pair of huge diamond earrings and a full face of glamorous makeup.
Many social media users were stunned by Millie's age, however, and observed how she appeared to look decades older.
Taking to X, formerly Twitter, one said: 'Literally had to double check it was her who turned 21 the other day and not 40.'
'When did 21 going on 45 looks become fashionable?' asked another.
A third observed: 'Already looking like 30-year-old.'
'How come she looks 30+?' asked a fourth.
Others were simply blown away by the passage of time, especially given that Millie was just 12 when she made her debut as Eleven on Stranger Things in 2016.
'Stunning,' posted one. 'It's weird watching them grow up before our eyes. I don't think I'll ever get used to it.
'It's like watching my own daughters as they have grown and thrived.'
'Eleven is all grown up,' said another.
Millie walked together with Jake on the red carpet, who put on a typically dapper display in a classic black suit and tie.
The married couple met through Instagram before they were photographed out together for the first time as a pair in June 2021.
The son of Jon Bon Jovi popped the question April 2023, after two years of dating, in an elaborate underwater proposal while on holiday.
They officially tied the knot in May 2024, in a 'very small, family ceremony.'
In October, Millie and Jake exchanged vows for a second time in a lavish Italian ceremony at the Villa Cetinale Roman in Tuscany.
