Death Stranding 2: On the Beach Has Been Rated For PC
by John Papadopoulos · DSOGamingTo the surprise of no one, Death Stranding 2: On the Beach will be coming soon to PC. ESRB has just rated the game for PC, hinting at an imminent reveal. Perhaps at The Game Awards 2025 show next month?
What’s also interesting here is that the ESRB rating has listed Sony Interactive Entertainment as the publisher. For those who did not know, 505 Games released the first Death Stranding game on PC.
Death Stranding 2 will be, once again, using the Decima Engine. When it came out, the game looked better than its predecessor. Moreover, it appeared to perform great on PS5. However, it also lacked any Ray Tracing effects. This is a pure rasterized game. So, it will be interesting to see whether or not Kojima will attempt to take advantage of what the modern PC GPUs can achieve.
Death Stranding 2: On the Beach sees Norman Reedus, Léa Seydoux, and Troy Baker return to the game. They are joined by Elle Fanning, Shioli Kutsuna, and Academy Award-winning film director George Miller.
The game follows Sam as he embarks on an inspiring mission of human connection. Joined by old companions and new comrades, he sets out on a journey beyond the UCA. Players will traverse a world beset by otherworldly enemies to save humanity from extinction.
Stay tuned for more!

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
