Resident Evil 9 has been revealed, to be released in February 2026

Capcom has just revealed Resident Evil 9, which will be called Resident Evil: Requiem. Resident Evil: Requiem will be coming to PC on February 27th, 2026, and you can find below its debut in-engine trailer.

Resident Evil: Requiem will use the powerful RE Engine, and it looks amazing. It’s a survival horror game made for just one player. You’ll play as Grace Ashcroft, and your goal is to stay alive in a terrifying adventure that will keep you on the edge of your seat.

The devs say that thanks to new technology and their years of experience, the game will have deep characters and super immersive gameplay that pulls you into the story like never before.

To be honest, I’m surprised that we’ll get RE9 in early 2026. I wasn’t expecting the game to come out so soon. So, this is definitely a pleasant surprise.

The following cinematic trailer does not show much. Since it’s an in-engine trailer, though, it can give you a glimpse at what Capcom aims to create.

Enjoy the trailer and stay tuned for more!
