Big Brother Star Mickey Lee Dies At Just 35 -- What Happened?!

Mickey Lee has tragically passed away.

The Atlanta native was a star on Big Brother‘s season 27 and quickly became a fan favorite. Earlier in the week, she reportedly suffered multiple cardiac arrests related to the flu, and was rushed to the ICU. She was said to be in stable, but critical, condition. Sadly, on Christmas Day, she took a turn for the worse.

In a post to Instagram, her family shared that she passed away. They wrote in the post:

“With profound sadness, the family of Mickey Lee announces her transition on Christmas in the early evening. Mickey captured the hearts of audiences nationwide through her appearance on Big Brother, where her authenticity, strength, and spirit left a lasting impression on fans and fellow cast members alike. She will be remembered for the joy she brought into the lives of so many and for the genuine connections she formed both on and off screen.”

The post continued:

“The family extends their deepest gratitude to everyone who has offered prayers, love, and support during this incredibly difficult time. Your kindness has been felt and is sincerely appreciated. As the family mourns this tremendous loss, they respectfully request privacy during this critical time of bereavement. Details regarding memorial services and arrangements will be shared at a later date. Mickey’s light, legacy, and impact will never be forgotten.”

Taken far too soon. She was only 35.

On social media, BB fans mourned the loss of their fav, writing:

“We will never forget you, Mickey! RIP”

“Rest in peace Mickey. You are vibrant, bold, unbothered and a strong female entrepreneur. This is a heartbreaking loss for all that knew you. Miss you fellow vibe architect love your vibe curator”
