Taylor Swift's Album Didn't Get SNUBBED By The Grammys...
by Perez Hilton · Perez HiltonDon’t worry, Swifties! Taylor Swift wasn’t snubbed!
The 69th Grammys nominations were announced on Friday with artists like Kendrick Lamar, Lady Gaga, and Bad Bunny being among the most nominated — but Taylor was nowhere to be found! We mean, she just released The Life of a Showgirl and broke some records! Where is her acclamation?
Well, hopefully it’ll come next year! The eligibility period for the upcoming award ceremony ended on September 30, 2025… And TLOAS was released on October 3. So, she was just a few days shy of meeting the eligibility period. Meaning she wasn’t snubbed — there was just no chance she could be on the list! Swifties will have to wait until the next round of nominations comes out next year.
Interestingly, this means T-Swizzle won’t be up against her bestie Sabrina Carpenter‘s new album at the award ceremony this year.
What do U think, Perezcious readers? Will Showgirl get its own moment next year — or will Taylor release new music to go after the award? Sound OFF (below).
