· VLADTVSinger Dawn Robinson, best known as a founding member of the iconic girl group En Vogue, recently opened up about her struggles with homelessness in a candid video shared on her YouTube channel.
Robinson revealed that for nearly three years, she has been living out of her car, navigating the challenges of homelessness while finding strength in her journey.
"I’ve been living in my car for almost three years," she shared around the 2:40 mark of her video. "It’s been a journey, but I’m proud of myself for figuring it out. I felt free, and I don’t regret it."
The singer explained that she initially moved in with her parents in Las Vegas in 2020, but tensions arose, and she felt that her mother was taking her anger out on her. After leaving, she briefly stayed with her manager, but when that arrangement didn’t work out, she found herself living out of her car.
Despite the difficulties, Robinson remains resilient and is using her experience to inspire others.
"I’ve been documenting my journey for a documentary," she told viewers. "This is my reality, and I hope it inspires others to see they can overcome anything."
