Yuvan And Ilaiyaraaja 1st Time For Shashtipoorthi

Shashtipoorthi, featuring young actors Rupeysh and Akanksha Singh in the lead roles and veterans Rajendra Prasad in Archana in important roles is releasing on May 30. 

As the film prepares for release;  the third song is released now. 

The special thing about this song is that it is composed by Ilaiyaraaja who is the music composer of the film and sung by his own son Yuvan Shankar Raaja. 

This is the first time that Yuvan has sang under the composition of Ilaiyaraaja in Telugu and this is grabbing the attention right away. 

The song “Raathrantha Rache” is a peppy number with Ilaiyaraaja‘s music and Yuvan’s graceful vocals. 

Speaking on the occasion, Yuvan Shankar Raja said, “I’m really happy to have sung this cool Telugu song composed by my father. I hope everyone enjoys it. I’m very happy to be a part of the Shashtipoorthi team.”

Interestingly, although the team initially considered Yuvan’s voice perfect for the song, Ilaiyaraaja had it recorded with another new Tamil singer. 

However, after persistent requests from the director and producer, Yuvan eventually recorded the track, which turned out to be a romantic number rich in energy and mood.

The inside talk is that the film was shot lavishly with big sets designed by Thota Tarani . It has good making values and is confident of enthralling the audience. 

This film is now preparing for a big release on May 30. It is produced by Rupeysh under Maa Aai banner and directed by Pavan Prabha.
