What time is The Traitors final? BBC show extended as millions set to tune in

by · ChronicleLive

There's great news for fans of The Traitors as, with the outcome of this series looking set o go right down to the wire after a huge twist, the final has been extended, meaning the show will begin earlier and be followed straight away by an episode of spin-off Uncloaked.

After the huge ratings success of the first two series, The Traitors returned for its latest run on the BBC at the start of January, going head to head with ITV drama Vera, as it aired its last ever episodes. Once again, The Traitors has been pulling in huge numbers on both BBC one and iPlayer over the last few weeks and, following a gripping episode on Thursday night, the final is sure to attract a massive audience on Friday.

The Traitors typically airs at 9pm on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, but for the final, the show will start earlier, kicking off at 8.30pm, with the final lasting 70 minutes, instead of the usual 60 and be followed at 9.40pm, by what looks set to be an explosive instalment of Uncloaked, once we know who has won.

Uncloaked is normally on BBC2 at 10pm, after each one of the main episodes has ended on BBC One, but with tensions set to be very high in the series finale, it has been promoted to BBC One, meaning that Traitors fans will get nearly two hours of action on finale night, as host Ed Gamble is joined by the cast, including the eventual winner/s.

Thursday's episode aired in very dramatic fashion when, after winning the Seer, Francesca was given the opportunity to choose one player to invite to a secret meeting and find out if they were a Traitor or Faithful and, much to the delight of many viewers at home, she chose Traitor Charlotte, right after she threw recruited Traitor Freddie under the bus, to seal his exit from the competition.
