Liverpool star urged to snub Real Madrid – Don’t give up on Slot’s side

Liverpool star Dominik Szoboszlai has been urged to ignore interest from Real Madrid and stay with the Reds.

Vilmos Sebők provides the advice for the Liverpool midfielder today, in comments relayed by Blikk. He doesn’t want to see Szoboszlai leave Liverpool any time soon

The Hungarian has been linked with a potential move away from Liverpool in the coming months. Real Madrid are known to be admirers and are, reportedly, planning an overhaul of their midfield at some point soon.

Szoboszlai could be one they target as he continues to impress in the Premier League, despite Liverpool’s struggles.

The Hungarian has undoubtedly been Liverpool’s best player this season, despite their failed title defence and problems across the pitch. Indeed, most would argue that he is currently one of only a handful coming out with any credit.

He was voted player of the month for the third time in November, something that has also likely been noted by Real Madrid. Sebők doesn’t believe that he should be rushing to leave Liverpool for Real Madrid, though.

“I don’t think Dominik should think about a move,” he said.

“He has earned himself huge recognition at Liverpool in a very short time. We can safely say that he is one of the most decisive players, on the other hand, if he goes to Real Madrid.

“I’m not saying that they would bench him, but he would definitely have to rebuild his authority. I think he is in a very good place at Liverpool now.”
