Lana Del Rey has shared an ethereal and country-tinged new song, ‘Henry, Come On’ – listen to it below.

Last year, the singer announced her upcoming 10th album, ‘The Right Person Will Stay’, which marks the follow-up to her 2023 record ‘Did You Know That There’s A Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd’.

Set to arrive on May 21, little has been shared about the record, although Del Rey previously told fans on Instagram that it will comprise 13 tracks – one of which is the newly released single titled ‘Henry, Come On’.

All these country singers / And their lonely rides to Houston / Doesn’t really make for the best / You know, settle down type,” she sings on the song’s bridge, before crooning to close out the song: “Last call, “Hey, y’all” / Hang his hat up on the wall/ Tell him that his cowgirl is gone / Go on and giddy up.”

It marks the first song off ‘The Right Person Will Stay’, which will predominantly feature a country sound, but with additions and explorations of other genres throughout the record. The album’s tracklist has yet to be revealed.

‘Henry, Come On’ also marks her first solo release in two years, as well as her first release since July’s collaboration with Quavo, ‘Tough’.

Lana Del Rey spoke to NME about the album last May, and suggested that the lyrics on the LP might be lighter than her more recent output. “I’ve maybe less to say in terms of any self-revealing things like on ‘Tunnel’ or ‘Blue Bannisters’ or ‘Chemtrails Over The Country Club’, and just more melodic,” she said. “Maybe more American Songbook style?”

Since then, the sound of the album, its release date, and even its title – formerly ‘Lasso’ – have been subject to speculation. Del Rey had previously said the project would arrive last October, later addressing the ongoing wait for the project by saying she was following her instincts after feeling a “literal energetic pause”.

Elsewhere, the ‘Cherry’ artist is set to embark on a UK and Ireland stadium tour this summer, with the dates all coming in support of ‘The Right Person Will Stay’. At the tail end of 2024, Del Rey became the highest-selling solo artist of 2025, the stadium trek selling out.

Following the announcement of huge gigs in Cardiff, Glasgow, Liverpool, Dublin and London and their subsequent sell outs, huge demand led to a second show in the UK capital being announced.
