'KPop Demon Hunters' Sequel Update, Netflix Sets Planned Release Date In 2029

There’s a new update on a KPop Demon Hunters sequel and it’s going to be quite a while before it comes out!

Netflix and Sony had an unexpected juggernaut of a hit with the animated movie, which had a slow start on the streamer before catapulting into a phenomenon.

Following it’s massive success, there was talk back in August that there could be two sequels, a series and more!

Shortly after that, it was announced that a sequel was officially in the works, and now we know that a deal has been finalized. However, fans will have to wait several years as it isn’t set to come out until 2029, per Bloomberg.

This release date could change, but it does take a long time to make animated movies.

Just recently, the movie’s writer and co-director opened up about one big regret on the hit movie and talked the future franchise possibilities.
