Bring on the Brits.

This year’s Brit Awards nominations have landed and we’re pleased to report that it’s another cracking year for the ladies. Unlike two years ago, when due to the new genderless awards categories, no female artists were nominated for artist of the year, this year, just like in 2024, there is a host of sensational women in the running. From the usual suspects such as Beyonce (Best International Artist, Best International Song of the Year), Taylor Swift (Best International Artist, Best International Song of the Year) and Dua Lipa (a whopping 4 nominations with Song of the Year, Artist of the Year, Best Pop Act and Album of the Year) we also have some new ladies to shout about. Namely, GLAMOUR fave, Rachel Chinouriri (Artist of the Year, Best New Artist of the Year), Beabadoobee (Artist of the Year, Alternative Rock Act), Lola Young (Best Pop Act), The Last Dinner Party (Group of the Year, Alternative Rock Act, Album of the Year). We’re also thrilled for Jade Thrilwall - now just ‘Jade’ - who received two nominations (Song of the Year, Best Pop Act) for her debut solo work away from her Little Mix sisters. And of course, lastly, it is no surprise to learn that the Brat summer Queen of 2024, Charli xcx, has landed the most nominations of all, with a grand total of 5 nominations for Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Artist of the Year, Best Dance Act and Best Pop Act.

The 2025 nominations were announced at The Outernet in London’t Tottenham Court Road and included guest appearances from Jade, Rachel Chinouriri and The Ezra Collective (who were very funny). The public will be invited to vote for winners in all of the five genre awards: Alternative/Rock Act, Dance Act, Hip-Hop/Grime/Rap Act, Pop Act and R&B Act and you can vote via the BRITs WhasApp and social accounts from Friday 31st January. The big night itself will take place on Saturday 1st March at The o2 in London. Good luck to all nominees and bring on the Brits.
