Westlife fans who watched the Late Late Show on Friday were in their element!
The boyband appeared on the RTÉ show to chat about their upcoming 3Arena residency and world tour, which has been launched to celebrate their 25th anniversary of touring. The band have been together for 27 years.
Shane Filan, Kian Egan and Nicky Byrne all appeared on the show, but sadly, their bandmate Mark Feehily wasn't there.
Mark isn't touring with the band this time around and hasn't for the last four years as he focuses on his health. He has undergone numerous surgeries over the past few years and even battled serious conditions like sepsis.
However, he's still very much a member of Westlife and has recorded new music with the band, appearing on the new single Chariot and their upcoming album.
Westlife performed their new single as well as a medley of their classic hits on the show, as well as interacting with some super fans in the audience, who showed off their rare memorabilia from down throughout the years.
Westlife fans at home were delighted to see their favourite band on the show.
"Westlife are KINGS OF POP MUSIC," said one fan on X.
"Classic Westlife," added another.
One long-time fan opened up about her love for the boyband: "Great to see Westlife on tonight, would loved to be in the audience! I had the first ever website for Westlife/westside/then known as IOU! In 1998!"
"Westlife were amazing," another happy viewer said.
"Fab. Who were backing Group? Amazing!" another person commented.
Even people who aren't fans of Westlife's music admired their personalities and success. "Lots slagging Westlife on the Late Late Late Show and its not my kind of music. But they are incredibly successful and bring a lot of happiness to people, which is more than most of us will do, so feck the begrudgers," said one viewer.
"I'm not a fan of their music, but Westlife are decent singers and have earned their stripes, so fair play to the lads. Their fans love them," added another X user.
Another person said that Westlife always stayed humble, despite their huge success globally. "They never lost the run of themselves," they added.
However, one person really missed Mark's voice. "My fave is missing. Need Mark back," they said.
