Vogue Williams is set to light up the dance floor in this year's festive edition of Strictly Come Dancing.

The much-loved BBC show returns with its Christmas special, and presenter Vogue Williams is among the stars strutting their stuff. Joining her in the yuletide line-up are comedian Josh Widdicombe, who will be dancing with Karen Hauer, drag performer Tayce paired with Kai Widdrington, and former Gladiator Harry Aikines-Aryeetey, known as Nitro, partnered with Nancy Xu.

Also taking to the ballroom will be EastEnders star Tamzin Outhwaite dancing with Nikita Kuzmin, and adventurer Billy Monger teaming up with Nadiya Bychkova for the holiday spectacle.

Speaking about joining the show, Vogue said: "I'm so excited to join the Strictly family! Carlos would have more of a chance of winning a Nobel prize than turning me into a good dancer but I am determined to try my very best! I'm loving it so far, bring on the Ballroom floor."

However, there's been a last-minute change to the line-up due to an unfortunate injury. Carlos has had to withdraw from the competition, with Gorka Marquez stepping in his shoes, reports the Mirror.

A spokesperson for Strictly Come Dancing announced: "Unfortunately, professional dancer, Carlos Gu, has sustained an ankle injury so is unable to participate in the Strictly Come Dancing Christmas Special alongside contestant Vogue Williams. Fellow professional dancer, Gorka Marquez will be stepping in for him and dancing with Vogue. We all wish him a speedy recovery."

Aside from her Strictly commitments, Vogue is married to Made In Chelsea's Spencer Matthews. Prior to this, she was married to Brian McFadden from 2012 until their split in 2017.

The couple is parents to three children: six year old Theodore, four year old Gigi, and two year old Otto.

Vogue opened up to Hello! magazine about the home life values she has. She said: "I always try to teach my kids manners, to be polite and to talk to our neighbours. I tell them to make sure they stop and just say 'Hello', or 'How are you?' or 'How was your day?'

"Seeing them after school, just little things like that. Because I think they make such a difference by just being polite and respectful. It can change someone's day and it's great when someone shows you they're actually interested in what you did today."

Regarding her relationship with Spencer, despite their busy schedules which often keep them apart, the couple prioritises quality time together. Vogue revealed: "I usually cook him something [nice] or I do most of the organising of everything in our lives. I think everyone thinks he and I work together all the time. We actually don't; we're separate for most of our day. So at night, we come home, we'll have dinner together, and then we both have our set jobs to make each other's lives a bit easier."
