The Red Arrows took to the skies in Devon for a spectacular display to kick off day one of the English Riviera Airshow 2026.

Taking place this weekend from Friday, May 29 to Sunday, May 31, the airshow in Paignton is celebrating 10 years since the event launched in 2016.

On the first night (Friday, May 29) the iconic Red Arrows from the Royal Air Force (RAF) soared over the seafront at 6:45pm as onlookers watched in awe.

The aerobatic display team will be returning to the event again today (May 30) at midday before the thunderous Typhoon closes the show at 3:37pm.

Throughout the day, Torbay Council said there will also be an events village which opens at 10am with lots of attractions, stalls and food and drink options, as well as live music all day.

The council urged visitors to remember to check their route before leaving home and allow plenty of time.

There are also a number of road closures in place from 10am today, including emergency road closures on Victoria Street and Hyde Road which may affect your journey.

People are being encouraged to travel by public transport or by walking/cycling if they can.
