Christine McGuinness has openly shared her journey navigating single life, two years on from her separation from Paddy McGuinness. The Real Housewives of Cheshire celebrity and her husband declared in June 2022 that they were calling time on their 11-year marriage, following the broadcast of their documentary 'Our Family and Autism' in 2021.

The programme chronicled the family's experiences with autism, featuring their twins Penelope and Leo, and Felicity, who have all been diagnosed with the condition, as well as Christine herself who received a diagnosis shortly afterwards. Despite going their separate ways, Christine and Paddy have maintained a united front, continuing to live together and co-parent in their Cheshire abode to maintain stability for their children.

In a candid interview with Woman's Own, the 36-year-old model and television personality opened up about her current living arrangements with Paddy, revealing that she is focusing on "believing in herself" as the New Year unfolds. She explained: "We're both really busy so we just try and get in and out whenever we can. There are times when we're there together, and there are times when it's just me or times when it's just him, and that's the way it's always been anyway."

Christine also touched on the common feelings of self-doubt, particularly as a mother devoted to her family and home life, saying: "I think everyone has self-doubt, especially when you're a mum, and you've spent most of your life and your time dedicating it to motherhood and being at home."

In a recent revelation, the mother of three, Christine McGuinness, expressed her joy at finding new love, declaring herself the "happiest she'd ever been". She shared with excitement: "I met them on my birthday through mutual friends and we've been dating since June.", reports the Liverpool Echo.

She went on to describe the budding romance: "It's someone I know. I wasn't thinking anything at the time but we kept in touch and it's so nice and laid back."

Christine also opened up about embracing her independence and rediscovering herself, stating: "When you step out on your own, you want a career - or suddenly you're single like me in your 30s - then you need to find yourself again and who you are."

During an intimate conversation with the panel on ITV's Loose Women, Christine revealed her preference for keeping her new relationship away from the limelight: "After having a relationship in the public eye for so long I'm not sure I want the relationship to be public. I've only ever known what it was like to have a relationship that's in the public. This is nice."

She continued to discuss her approach to dating: "I've been really open and honest from the beginning about where I'm at and they're ok with that. I feel like I'm in good company. I don't get a lot of time to myself but when I do it's lovely and we laugh loads."

Fans can catch Christine McGuinness on BBC's The Weakest Link, where she will be competing as a contestant tonight at 7.30pm.
