Even for the most experienced Hollywood actors, getting fully naked in front of a camera crew isn't the most enjoyable or comfortable thing to do. Intimacy coordinators have become commonplace on movie sets to help with awkwardness, but it sounds like Seth Rogen has another good solution.

During a 2019 appearance on The Graham Norton Show, Seth said, "Very early in our careers, we realized that if you ever need someone to be naked in a movie, you should hire a porn star."

He explained that this was how he wound up working with Stormy Daniels twice — once in The 40-Year-Old Virgin (2005), and again in Knocked Up (2007).

Charlize Theron and Zac Efron, who were sitting on either side of him, looked shocked by this revelation. However, Seth went on to explain why he felt that hiring experienced sex workers for nude scenes is simply better for everyone.

"It's the easiest thing they did that week," he joked. "In general, it's not a situation where you're, like, convincing a mainstream actress to get naked. Instead, you're taking a porn actress and putting her in a mainstream movie, and she doesn't have to put anything in her."

Seth may have shared this in a lighthearted way, but there's actually a lot of logic to what he said. Now, over seven years later, the interview clip has resurfaced online, amassing over 7.4 million views on X this week.

All in all, people are in support of what Seth suggested. "USE PORNSTARS FOR NUDE SCENES 👏," reads one X post with over 60,000 likes. Another response said, "Explain to me how much we have normalized sex and porn, yet this is still controversial and not the default. Make it make sense."

There's obviously a lot of nuance to this, but most people felt it's a great idea, so long as all the sex workers are protected and properly compensated, just as any other actor would be.
