"F*cking Disrespectful": Isa Briones Of "The Pitt" Calls Out Fans For Yelling At Her On Broadway, And It's Sparked An Important Discourse About Boundaries
Isa Briones of The Pitt is fed up with people heckling her, especially while she's performing a completely different character live on Broadway.

Isa is currently starring on Broadway as Connie Francis in the musical "Just In Time," alongside Jeremy Jordan. The lively, musical role is a total departure from the sarcastic second-year resident she plays on The Pitt, Trinity Santos.

But unfortunately, some people in the Broadway audience are having a hard time separating Trinity Santos from Connie Francis, and they are inappropriately and distractingly vocal about it.

In a pointed Instagram Story, Isa wrote: "Hey, hey, hey! Once again, Broadway is not a circus. Do not yell whatever you want at the performers. Yelling ‘when are you going to finish your charts’ before I sing ‘Who’s Sorry Now?’ is fucking disrespectful to the performers onstage and your fellow audience members. Y’all are pissin’ me off."
"isa briones being belittled as a performer to one role she has, having an unfunny joke that has become common harrassment yelled at her before her performance, and having her talent and actual wants ignored because people only have tunnelvision of dr santos. it’s not okay at all-"
"Imagine paying good money for an experience and then ruining it for yourself and for other people who paid good money to be there. These 'fans' are the worst."
"Good for Isa for calling it out. Broadway is live theater, not a roast or a concert—shouting at performers mid-show is just disrespectful to everyone in the room. "You paid for a ticket, not a mic. Let the actors do their job."
This isn't the first controversy to hit The Pitt fandom. Noah Wyle has dealt with fan backlash due to his character's darker arc. Producers have also felt the sting for ending fan favorite Dr. Samira Mohan's (played by Surpriya Ganesh) storyline on season 2.

And now, it seems like a part of the fandom is refusing to see Isa as anyone but The Pitt medical resident who needs to be yelled at about finishing her cases in the middle of a Broadway show. Make it make sense.

Was Isa right to call this kind of behavior out? Let me know in the comments.
