After Whoopi Goldberg introduced Anson onto the set, he leaned in and exchanged a kiss on the cheek. OK, normal enough, right?

Then, he walked around the table and went in for a cheek-kiss with Joy Behar. Still pretty normal...

Then, Joy pulled him in for a longer kiss. Like, a much longer kiss.

It was very clearly not planned in advance.

Like, she really went for it.

Afterwards, Anson was visibly stunned — and he had Joy's lipstick smeared on his lower lip, too...

Which he very awkwardly had to wipe off with a napkin.

After Whoopi asked Joy if she needed a moment to collect herself, the latter responded, “I need a little bit of a touch-up. Last time he was here, he brought me flowers for my birthday, and it’s never been the same between us.”

And when Anson reminded Joy that he got married in 2018, she replied, "That’s what I mean!”
