Sophie Turner's salary from Game of Thrones
In the series, Sophie Turner plays the role of 'Sansa Stark' in Game of Thrones. It was Sophie Turner's first television project, and since 2011, the actress played the role of the noblewoman in HBO's fantasy drama. If the reports are to be believed, Sophie was paid USD 175,000 for each episode during the initial phase, and later it evolved to USD 250,000. While not confirmed, it was said that Sophie's salary could have been even more. It was during an interview with Harper’s Bazaar that Sophie confirmed that she was paid less than her co-star Kit Harington on the final season.
Kit played the role of 'Jon Snow' in the drama, and if the reports are to be followed, for his role, he was paid millions for the final two episodes. Other reports suggested that other cast members, such as Emilia Clarke, who played 'Daenerys Targaryen', Lena Headey, who was seen as 'Cersei Lannister', Peter Dinklage, who essayed the role of 'Tyrion Lannister', and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau as 'Jaime Lannister' earned something around USD 500,000 per episode, while their initial salary was around USD 300,000.
Well, talking to Harper's Bazaar, Sophie stated that she was paid less than Kit, who was paid more, as he had a larger storyline. He also shared how Kit had to work for 70-nights, which she didn't have to do, so she felt that her co-star deserved what he got. Reports claimed that Kit's salary was somewhere around USD 1 million to USD 2 million, and the final two seasons of GOT had 7 and 6 episodes, respectively. Sophie could be quoted as saying:
"Kit got more money than me, but he had a bigger storyline. And for the last series, he had something crazy like 70 night shoots, and I didn’t have that many. I was like, ‘You know what…you keep that money.’”

New Game of Thrones sequel on Arya Stark
A sequel to 'Jon Snow' on Game of Thrones was in the making for years. If the reports are to be believed, 'Jon Snow' wanted a darker plot, with the idea of being killed, which the makers felt would be too much to take for the viewers. Now, HBO has finally scrapped the 'Jon Snow' sequel, and a new project, centring around 'Arya Stark', is now in development, as per the recent report. While not confirmed, the last episode showed one of the much-loved characters, 'Arya Stark', sailing in the west of Westeros to explore the unknown. So, there might be a teeny-tiny possibility that the sequels and spin-offs would want to explore that portion, bringing back the original timeline.
