However, the rumour mills were churning after Alba's father, Luiz Baptista, made a comment on social media.

On the occasion of Father's Day 2025, a fan account of Chris and Alba had posted a wish for both their fathers and tagged them as well. In this post, Luiz commented, "Many thanks, dear Chris. Your turn is coming!" This one comment sparked speculation that the couple might be expecting and had kept the good news hidden from the public. According to TMZ, Chris had also sold his Hollywood Hills mansion and was looking forward to moving closer to his family with his wife. Although there was no confirmation of their pregnancy, fans were certain Chris and Alba were planning to expand their family.
