Quick Summary

Amazon has brought forward the debut date for Fallout Season Two, with the series now premiering on Prime Video today, 16 December.

The first episode will be available to watch from 6pm PT today – so 2am in the UK.

The first season of Fallout broke all manner of streaming records on its release a couple of years ago, so the debut of Season Two has been one of the most eagerly-anticipated in Amazon Prime Video's history.

And as a special surprise, the streamer has decided to bring it forward so you won't have to wait much longer.

It has announced that the second season will launch today – Tuesday 16 December 2025. That's a day earlier than previously advertised.

The much-welcomed news was unveiled in Las Vegas, with a giant projection on the renowned Sphere showing the change in debut date.

Las Vegas – or rather, New Vegas – is the setting for the new series, so the announcement location was apt. We also love the snow globe-style graphics that accompanied it.

It's worth noting though, that while the show's premiere episode will be available to US viewers today – as it will appear from 6pm PT, it'll still be 17 December when it is made available to watch in the UK and Europe. The time difference means it will debut at 2am GMT / 3am CET.

Still, fans who simply cannot wait can make a late night of it.

Fallout Season Two will last for eight episodes, which will arrive on Prime Video weekly until the finale on 4 February 2026. It picks up immediately after the events in the first season as Lucy (Ella Purnell) and The Ghoul (Walton Goggins) head to New Vegas to hunt down Lucy's father, Hank (as played by Kyle MacLachlan).

Gamers will be especially keen to see how well the new setting translates onto the small screen, after its debut in Fallout: New Vegas 15 years ago. Obsidian's sequel to Fallout 3 is considered by many to be the best RPG in the series, as so it holds a special place in many fans' hearts.
