Timothée Chalamet Skipped the Met Gala for the Knicks

Timothée Chalamet knows where his priorities lie. He did not join his partner, Kylie Jenner, on the Met Gala’s mossy carpet this year and instead spent the evening with the longest love of his life: the New York Knicks. He was spotted at the playoff game against the Philadelphia 76ers at Madison Square Garden. It’s not the first time he’s skipped the Met Ball for basketball. He passed on last year’s dinner to watch the Knicks play at home on his iPad, but this time he opted to support from a courtside seat. It’s unclear whether Chalamet was invited to the event, but given that his in-laws are close to the Bezos family, an invitation was probably extended. He’s in Dune! Why wouldn’t he at least been offered a ticket?

Fellow diehard Knicks fan Ben Stiller, who mentioned he was feeling a little bit of basketball FOMO at the Met Gala, wore an orange tie, and his wife, Christine Taylor, wore a blue dress inspired by their favorite team. Timmy is probably cheering extra loudly for both of them.
