Kill Bill Returns to Theaters This Holiday Season
by Bethy Squires · VULTUREWho wants their “Good for Her” movie supersized? Lionsgate has released the trailer for Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair, the mash-up of Kill Bill 1 and 2. The version has existed on DVD for years and had limited showings for about as long, but this marks the first nationwide release for Quentin Taratino’s epic of revenge and cyclic violence. Q.T. has also added a never-before-seen anime sequence, per The Hollywood Reporter. More O-Ren Ishii backstory?
Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair is a whopping 281 minutes long. That’s four-plus hours. The run time does include a 15-minute intermission, however. And if you want still more time with Beatrix Kiddo, don’t hold your breath. Tarantino has toyed with a Kill Bill 3 off and on for years, with the movie potentially starring Uma Thurman and her daughter, Maya Hawke. But it seems the director is treading very carefully regarding what his tenth and final movie will be. The Film Critic got spiked, after all. In the meantime, get ready for a bloody Xmas season as Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair comes to theaters December 5.
