The White Lotus Casts Some of the Internet’s Boyfriends

The White Lotus’s newest play? Cast a bunch men who were completely lovable in previous projects so Mike White can have a ball turning audiences against them. The latest crop of White Lotus additions gives the world a peek into the men, boys, and girl who will be privileged to a fault on the French Riviera. The biggest two names to join the cast come from the world of the romantic comedy. Max Greenfield, best known for his Emmy-nominated role in New Girl, and Kumail Nanjiani, beloved for the HBO sitcom Silicon Valley and the autobiographical rom-com The Big Sick, both joined the cast. No plot details have been released yet, but we’re imagining these two on a bros trip gone sour.

Also newly cast are Charlie Hall, a.k.a. Julia Louis-Dreyfus’s son who played a love interest on The Sex Lives of College Girls, and Jarrad Paul, a perpetual TV-comedy character actor. Chloe Bennet is also joining — she’s best known as Daisy Johnson/Skye on Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

This crew fills out an already-impressive season-four cast for the show, including Greenfield and Nanjiani’s fellow 2010s sitcom star Chris Messina, Oscar nominee Helena Bonham Carter, funnywoman Sandra Bernhard, British comedian Steve Coogan, and French icon Vincent Cassel. They’re joined by Caleb Jonte Edwards, Corentin Fila, Nadia Tereszkiewicz, Ari Graynor, Marissa Long, Alexander Ludwig, AJ Michalka, and Dylan Ennis. Mike White has yet to announce a former Survivor castmate — maybe he can apologize to Q for last week’s episode by bringing him to France.
