Zendaya Acknowledges Popular AI Photos of Her ‘Wedding’

Zendaya is well-aware of the shenanigans that the internet is getting up to regarding her wedding, and she’s not mad, just disappointed. During her guest appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! last night, Zendaya appeared entirely beleaguered by the recent proliferation of AI-generated photos of her hypothetical wedding to her fiancé/maybe-husband, Tom Holland. When Kimmel brought up the photos and how they were fooling people, she sarcastically responded, “Really? I haven’t seen any of that!” The photos took off after her stylist, Law Roach, seemingly confirmed that the couple had wed. Whether or not anything about the photos are real, the engagement ring and a wedding band seen glittering on Zendaya’s ring finger during the interview are definitely not AI.

Talking with Kimmel, Zendaya noted that “many people have been fooled by them.” “I was just out and about in real life and people were like, ‘Oh my God, your wedding photos are gorgeous,’” she said. “And I was like, ‘Babe, they’re AI. They’re not real!’”

Then, Zendaya shared a “video” that she claimed was “something to just clear the confusion.” Really, it was a scene from her upcoming film The Drama, in which she plays a bride-to-be, with Holland’s face poorly pasted over her co-star Robert Pattinson’s head. Look what Law Roach’s loose lips about the wedding hath wrought.
