After moviegoers began turning A Minecraft Movie into interactive theater, Jack Black stepped in to remind audiences that employees will be cleaning up after them, so maybe don’t make a mess. “No throwing popcorn! And absolutely no chicken jockeys!” Black yelled into the excited audience on Sunday, April 14. “Oh, yeah! I am Steve. Are you ready to rock? Ladies and gentlemen, please enjoy A Minecraft Movie. Roll the projector!” Since the release of the film, fans began throwing popcorn and screaming “chicken jockey” during the scene where a baby zombie rides a chicken, causing havoc among confused parents and dejected movie-theater employees.

If any gamers really need to let their chicken jockey fly, there might be a way for everyone to win. Regal Cinemas announced special “Chicken Jockey” screenings where you can “dress up as your favorite Minecraft characters, whoop, yelp, clap and shout.” There is only one rule for the screening: “Please don’t go full Creeper in the auditorium.” Maybe they could add cleaning up after yourself as a rule too.
