EastEnders actress Lacey Turner has said her family's 'hearts are so full' as she welcomed her third child with hubby Matt Kay.

The soap star, 36, announced on social media that she had given birth to a baby girl as she shared heartwarming snaps of the tot on Friday.

Lacey posted an adorable snap of her two older kids planting kisses on the newborn, captioning it: "Our hearts are full."

Her fellow soap stars were quick to offer their congrats, with Diane Parish exclaiming: "Amazing" and Lorraine Stanley gushing: "Congratulations to you all ! ! ! what beautiful photos, big love and hugs."

Married since 2017, Lacey and Matt are already proud parents to Dusty, aged five, and three year old Trilby, and they've been buzzing about their latest addition.

Back in September, Lacey shared a touching beachside photo of the adorable family holding a baby scan against a sunset backdrop, writing: "Aren't we lucky..... @thekayoskids" with heaps of heart emojis, reports the Mirror.

Fans and friends alike swarmed the comments to share in the joy, with co-star Jac Jossa commenting: "So special! Congratulations angel all of you! ! Beautiful x," while another fan chimed in: "Congratulations to you all Gutted that will also mean Stacey won't be in EastEnders for a while x".

Lacey, famed for her portrayal of EastEnders' Stacey Slater, first shot to stardom in 2004 with her debut on Albert Square. Over the past two decades, the 36-year-old has been part of some unforgettable storylines, including the renowned Christmas plot involving 'The Six', with her character even becoming a grandmother in 2023 when her daughter Lily gave birth.

Lacey and her husband Matt Kay, who was her teenage sweetheart, met at a friend's house when they were just 15 and have been inseparable since, something she considers herself "really lucky" for.

They exchanged vows in 2017 at an exclusive resort in northern Ibiza, surrounded by many of her EastEnders colleagues, including the late Barbara Windsor, Jake Wood, Laurie Brett, Scott Maslen, Aaron Sidwell, and James Bye.

She was also accompanied by her four bridesmaids - sisters Lily and Daisy, stepsister Mimie and new sister-in-law Amber - and two adorable flower girls.

After enduring the heartbreak of two miscarriages, she welcomed her two "miracle" children, daughter Dusty Violet and son Trilby Fox.

She later revealed how opting for private healthcare aided her in having her children. "If I'd not gone private I'd probably still have no babies," she confessed to The Sun newspaper.

"There wasn't really any aftercare. I was told that I'd had a miscarriage and that was it. I really felt quite overwhelmed and lost during our miscarriages."

"We found ourselves confused. We had no explanation, just a sudden feeling of the excitement of having a baby to feeling completely empty and lost. To go through that once is hard enough. Earlier doctors' advice and support would have helped."

She continued: "We were lucky enough to go to a private specialist. Everyone should have that opportunity. It's great that the subject of miscarriage is becoming less of a taboo subject. There are great charities which can help."
