by Kelly Smith · Irish MirrorChristine Lampard was visibly upset as she took charge with delivering the emotional tribute dedicated to Linda Nolan after she sadly lost her battle with cancer.
Linda had been a fellow panel member on Loose Women, alongside her sister Coleen Nolan. Sadly, it was announced on Wednesday that the beloved ITV star had died.
Wanting to honour her former panel member, Christine struggled to fight back the tears as she reassured that Linda "passed away in comfort with her loved ones at her side," she emotionally added: "She will be in our thoughts forever."
In a statement released to the Mirror, agent Dermot McNamara, confirmed Linda's passing: "It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Linda Nolan, the celebrated Irish pop legend, television personality, Guinness World Record holding West End star, Sunday Times bestselling author and Daily Mirror columnist.
"She passed at around 10:20am at Blackpool Victoria Hospital on the MCEW Ward. The family said the hospital couldn't do enough, they were tireless."
