'Akshay Kumar has delivered a fantastic performance, but real heart and soul of Haiwaan is Saif Ali Khan'

Trade analyst Sumit Kadel took to X to shared Haiwaan review and posted, "Haiwaan Review - ( 3:5 Stars) Haiwaan is a very powerful and compelling thriller. Yes, it is a remake of Oppam, but the climax is different, and the film is even more engaging. The “remake” tag may perhaps work against the film, but if the audience watches it, I’m sure they will absolutely love it. Priyadarshan has made a terrific film. Akshay Kumar has delivered a fantastic performance, but the real heart and soul of the film is Saif Ali Khan. In my opinion, this is one of the finest performances of his career. The interval block, the police station sequence, the pre-climax and, most importantly, the climax twist are absolutely FANTASTIC. If the audience goes out and watches Haiwaan, its word of mouth can spread very rapidly. The film definitely deserves a watch."

Haiwaan movie review Live Updates: 'Priyadarshan film's different and bold'

X page @GlobalBOReport shared Haiwaan review that read, "Haiwaan is a dark and unpredictable thriller that creates the right atmosphere from the start. Akshay Kumar is a major highlight with a controlled and unsettling performance, while Saif Ali Khan brings a quieter emotional depth. The chemistry between both performances works well, and the eerie background score adds to the tension. Priyadarshan delivers something different and bold here, making Haiwaan a worthy theatrical watch

X page @MovieReview_Hub shared the first-half review of Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan's film and posted, "1st half done.. Haiwaan Review sorry to say, Haiwaan is frame to frame copy of Oppam...not even subplots are changed...In one scene where an address needs to be conveyed, they even retain the same handpump reference from Oppam. Akshay Kumar deserves better...Haiwaan has been lazy work since begining...zero creativity, no effort to remove Hindi Version of Oppam from Youtube, no marketing ..lazy PR team.

Boman Irani reveals why he ditched his usual rehearsal routine for Haiwaan

In an interview with South Asian Herald, Boman Irani revealed how he changed his usual approach to preparation for Haiwaan. Known for extensively rehearsing his lines, the actor said, “As an actor, I often over-rehearse. I do the lines while wearing my socks, shaving, etc. When you get onto the floor, you have Mr. Priyadarshan telling you, ‘Just say this one time, look into the camera, and just walk off the camera.’ Then all my preparation comes to zero.” He further explained that preparation should not become rigid, adding, “If you are stuck to it and you are married to a method, then you are not a good actor. You have to prepare enough for the director to tell you, ‘Turn it down or up a little bit.’”
