“This lullaby from our Palestinian musical heritage has been with me since early childhood.” Palestinian musician Nai Barghouti explains. “Today, it returns at a much-needed time as a reminder of what Palestinians will never lose: hope, defiance, beauty, and dignity."
The single's artwork has been created by Gaza painter Malak Mattar, while some of the lyrics featured on 'Lullaby' have been sourced from Palestinian poet and author Mahmoud Darwish.
All proceeds from the single will support Palestinian humanitarian organisations through Choose Love's All Eyes on Gaza campaign, which provides food, medicine, water, shelter, and more to help Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank.
"After a year defined by unimaginable loss, grief and injustice, we want to end with an act of love for Palestine’s children,” says Brian Eno. “If we rally together and download it, we have a real shot at landing Christmas No. 1 - and turning that moment into vital life-saving support for Gaza’s families.”

Alongside the musical performances, the concert featured speeches from figures such as Florence Pugh, Benedict Cumberbatch and Louis Theroux. The concert ultimately raised £2 million for charity, was livestreamed worldwide, and has since been developed into a film, which will be available to stream on YouTube from December 19.
