Every 24th night is a blessing to share music with my people – Kojo Antwi

Ghanaian music legend Kojo Antwi is set to light up the stage once again for the 34th edition of his annual Ku Entry concert.

Speaking with KMJ on Joy Prime monitored by MyNewsGh, he described the experience as “priceless” and a privilege to share his music with fans.

“It’s every time I get the opportunity to be on stage, it’s a blessing to me,” he said. “I don’t really do this for money. I come on stage to share my music with the people.”

Antwi reflected on his musical journey, noting the independence he enjoyed in composing songs.

“I thank God for giving me that independence, the independence of composing and determining what will be in the song,” he said.

He emphasized that his approach to music, including unique song structures like placing the chorus at the end, has contributed to his songs’ lasting appeal.

For fans planning to attend, Ku Entry 2025 is themed “Coentrified Number Three” and will take place at UPS Auditorium on December 24. Tickets are available online and at select locations, with prices ranging from GHC 400 for club class to GHC 1,500 for platinum tables.

Antwi’s message to young musicians is clear: prioritize the art of music and its impact on listeners over monetary gains. “Music is very important,” he said.

“These young ones must unite and do things… they should use music to unite us.”
