VIDEO: Burna Boy chases couple out of his concert for dozing off

A video of Afrofusion star Burna Boy ordering a sleeping couple to leave his concert has gone viral on social media, igniting a firestorm of criticism and debate.

The incident occurred during Burna Boy’s ‘No Sign of Weakness’ tour at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Denver.

The video showed the Grammy-winning artiste halting his performance mid-show after spotting the man and his girlfriend asleep in the front row.

Addressing the couple directly, Burna Boy refused to continue his set until they were removed from the venue.

“I see you and your girl sleeping in front of me. Take her home. Bro, I’m not doing no more songs until you take her home,” he said.

“Wallahi, I’m not doing another song until you go home. Pls hurry up man.”

The clip has divided fans and critics alike, leading to intense online discussions about artiste expectations and audience etiquette.

Many users condemned the ‘Last Last’ singer’s actions, labelling him as entitled and disrespectful to paying attendees.

An X user wrote: “I can’t pay for a concert and the artiste will ask me to leave because I was sleeping and I’ll go. That’s not possible, the worst should happen. The artiste must end the concert. Btw, Burna Boy isn’t a likable character at all. Narcissistic, arrogant and very violent.”

“Not a big fan but isn’t this equivalent to when lecturer send you out after paying school fees and sleeping in class ?? He did nothing wrong,” another user wrote.
