DOWNLOAD: Black Sherif, Fireboy team up for ‘So It Goes’

Black Sherif, the Ghanaian singer, has come through with his latest single ‘So It Goes’.

In the track released in the early hours of Thursday, the Ghanaian hitmaker enlisted the musical prowess of Fireboy DML, the Nigerian singer.

The song sees Black Sherif talk about his relentless pursuit of success and a better life while Fireboy expresses his determination to make “mama smile” despite facing challenges.

“Moving from place to place, from plane to plane, spreading my word out and shame/ I’ll be doing this for a while/ Searching a better place for my life/ Cause where I’m from no resting/ All we had was nothing, nothing yeah/ Say I want zero and blessings, but I had blood in my eyes/ Fire on my hands, survival plans pull my head/ I was getting tired, but you make me wanna trap again,” the lyrics read.

Black Sherif has made a name for himself since the release of his hits ‘First Sermon’ and ‘Second Sermon’.

He became a viral sensation in Nigeria and other African countries after he released ‘Kwaku The Traveller’.

Fireboy, on the other hand, rose to fame following the release of ‘Jealous’, his 2019 single.

The singer got signed to YBNL, the record label owned by Olamide, in 2018. In 2019, Fireboy released his debut album ‘Laughter, Tears & Goosebumps’.

Since then, he has established a name for himself in the Nigerian music industry. He has also bagged a plethora of nominations and awards for his craft.
