The track arrives on Friday in time for Eid celebrations and was first unveiled during Asake’s Red Bull symphonic performance, where he made history as the first African artiste to headline the orchestral event in the United States.
‘Worship’ fuses Fuji and Afrobeats with traditional Nigerian worship elements, layered over subtle electronic dance influences.
The accompanying music video embraces a calm, reflective mood, featuring Asake dressed in white against a serene beach backdrop.

In the visuals, he steps away from his usual high-energy performance style, opting instead for a more restrained and spiritual expression.
Over DJ Snake’s production, Asake delivers an emotional message of gratitude and resilience.
“Alhamdulillahi, praise be to God. No matter your condition, forget your losses. Something must go before something comes. It is work, not luck… Even in darkness and brightness, you are with me,” he sings.

Reflecting on the collaboration, Asake shared that the fusion allowed them to create something universal.
“Working with DJ Snake allowed us to create a song that feels universal. It represents the energy we feel when we connect to something greater than ourselves. I wanted the video to let the music speak for itself,” he said.
DJ Snake also described the track as an honest expression of their shared energy.
“The track communicates how we both feel right now. Same energy. Asake came with the vibe he’s known for, and I didn’t want to overthink it. We just made something honest — something people can feel everywhere,” he added.
