Davido, Burna Boy, Mary J. Blige to headline 2025 Afro Nation festival

Davido, Burna Boy, and Tems are among the headliners for the 2025 Afro Nation festival.

The event is scheduled to take place from July 9 to 11 at the Algarve Portimão in Portugal.

The organisers, in a post via X, announced the three music stars in a list containing a plethora of notable artistes who will be performing at the event.

Mary J. Blige, the US singer and actress, will also make her debut performance at the fifth edition of the festival.

“The Queen of R&B Mary J. Blige will be live at Afro Nation for the first time ever! 🇵🇹 For the lovers of soulful vibes & classic rhythm.. This one’s for you,” the organisers wrote.

The three-day event will bring together some of the biggest names in Afrobeats, R&B, dancehall, and amapiano.

Performing acts include Nigeria’s Qing Madi, Ghanaian singer Amaarae, French rapper Booba, British-Nigerian singer Odeal, and South African stars Felo Le Tee, LeeMcKrazy, and Scotts Maphuma.

Others are Uncle Waffles, Innosss’B, Young Stunna, The Therapist, and Scorpion Kings.

Afro Nation is an annual event celebrating Africans in the diaspora. The event is considered one of the biggest music concerts globally.

Last year, Nigerian music stars like Rema, Asake, Omah Lay, Flavour, Odumodublvck, and Seyi Vibez thrilled the audience at the festival.
