In a recent interview on the Lip Service podcast, the ‘Somebody’s Son’ hitmaker cited the challenges of finding a suitable partner as a successful, famous woman.
The 44-year-old artiste opened up about her personal struggles with love.
Savage said that despite her success in the music industry, finding a genuine life partner has proven difficult.

She said she often finds herself in the unwanted role of a “sugar mama” in relationships, a dynamic she wishes to avoid.
“I am like a sugar mama, but I do not want to be. If I meet somebody who can really marry me, they are either in their 50s or already married. So, I do not know. Maybe I can be a second wife. I think so. I could be a second wife,” she said.
“I think I can go along with the first wife, and she’s going to love me because I am not going to be troublesome. I am going to be going on tours, and I am not going to stress you. I am very respectful. I know that you are the first wife and would accord you that respect.”

Savage tied the knot with Tunji ‘TeeBillz’ Balogun in 2013, and they welcomed their son Jamal in 2015. They, however, divorced in 2018.
