Rosé and Bruno Mars’ collaboration song ‘APT’ quickly took the world by storm when it was released in October, immediately topping the charts and gaining global popularity. Since then, ‘APT’ has continued to be the standout track of Rosé’s debut album ‘rosie’, maintaining its domination of the global music charts.

Now, Rosé has yet another accolade to add to her list, as the official music video for ‘APT’ has just broken a significant record. Previously, ‘APT’ gained attention for becoming the first music video to break ‘Dynamite’ by BTS’s record of being the fastest K-pop music video to reach 600 million views. But ‘APT’ has now surpassed yet another impressive milestone—it has just broken ‘Gangnam Style’ by PSY’s record of being the fastest K-pop video to reach 700 million views.

This is particularly notable, given ‘Gangnam Style’s’ explosive popularity when it was released in 2012. For 12 years, ‘Gangnam Style’ has held the record for fastest K-pop music video to reach 700 million views, achieving the feat in 118 days as compared to Rosé’s 70 days. Fans are now speculating as to how soon ‘APT’ will reach the milestone of 1 billion views.
